Coudoint S.A.S. is a privately owned and operated company.
Founded in 1913, Coudoint has been operating in Les Essarts Le Roi (78 – Yvelines), near Paris since 1924.

The company developed its business in the field of power resistors, rheostats, load banks and precision potentiometers, supplying to industrial companies of all sizes from small businesses to major international companies.

Besides specific products for the railway industry, the company has always supplied components and equipment for schools and universities, laboratories and various industrial sectors including electrical equipment, aeronautics, defense and the steel, cement and printing industries.

The company first offered components such as resistors, potentiometers, and then added resistor assemblies, resistor enclosures and passive load banks, which have been technically enriched over time through the evolution of technology by:

  • electromechanical products (motorized potentiometers, manually driven load banks),
  • electronic power switches
  • electronically controlled units integrating specially designed electronic controllers.

In addition to supplying a series of standard products, the company also offers custom designs to meet specific needs, a service that is made possible due to the continuous development of specialized knowledge and proven solutions from the very beginning of our company.

While constantly improving the technology of our products, the company also continues to supply replacement parts to maintain or update existing equipment.

Our production system is organized to achieve on-demand production: the exact order quantities are produced for each specifically defined product.
